Last 12 Months - Best/Worst PPV Performers

Took a dive back through the last 12 months of WO PPV feedback (October 2011 - October 2012). Based on this data, it would suggest: ROH Kings are Davey Richards, Kevin Steen and Adam Cole TNA Winners are AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Christopher Daniels, Austin Aries, Kazarian and Bobby Roode WWE Superstars are CM Punk, John Cena, Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler Best Match Honors Ring of Honor Davey Richards: 5 matches Kevin Steen: 5 matches Adam Cole: 3 matches Michael Elgin: 2 matches Kyle O’Reilly: 2 matches El Generico: 1 match Mike Mondo: 1 match Mike Bennett: 1 match Eddie Edwards: 1 match Rhino: 1 match Lance Storm: 1 match TNA AJ Styles: 8 matches Kurt Angle: 7 matches Christopher Daniels: 7 matches Austin Aries: 6 matches Kazarian: 5 matches Bobby Roode: 5 matches Jeff Hardy: 3 matches Samoa Joe: 3 matches James Storm: 2 matches Mr Anderson: 1 match Kid Kash: 1 match Hernandez: 1 match Brutus Magnus: 1 match Alex Shelley: 1 match Bully Ray: 1 match Zema Ion: 1 match Abyss: 1 match Chavo Guerrero Jr: 1 match Jesse Sorensen: 1 match WWE CM Punk: 12 matches John Cena: 8 matches Daniel Bryan: 6 matches Dolph Ziggler: 6 matches Chris Jericho: 4 matches the Big Show: 4 matches Alberto Del Rio: 4 matches Sheamus: 3 matches the Miz: 3 matches Mark Henry: 2 matches the Rock: 2 matches Kane: 2 matches R-Truth: 2 matches Cody Rhodes: 2 matches Santino Marella: 2 matches Brock Lesnar: 2 matches Christian: 2 matches HHH: 2 matches Sin Cara: 1 match Damien Sandow: 1 match The Great Khali: 1 match Kofi Kingston: 1 match Lord Tensai: 1 match Tyson Kidd: 1 match the Undertaker: 1 match Wade Barrett: 1 match John Morrison: 1 match Worst Match Honors Ring of Honor Charlie Haas: 4 matches Shelton Benjamin: 3 matches Mike Bennett: 2 matches Mark Briscoe: 2 matches Rhett Titus: 2 matches Cedric Alexander: 2 matches Jay Briscoe: 2 matches Jimmy Jacobs: 2 matches Roderick Strong: 2 matches Rhino: 1 match Caprice Coleman: 1 match Kevin Steen: 1 match Fit Finlay: 1 match Dave Crist: 1 match Headbanger Mosh: 1 match Headbanger Thrasher: 1 match Tadarius Thomas: 1 match Homicide: 1 match Michael Elgin: 1 match Jake Crist: 1 match Mike Mondo: 1 match Adam Pearce: 1 match Adam Cole: 1 match Steve Corino: 1 match Kenny King: 1 match Tommaso Ciampa: 1 match TNA Bully Ray: 6 matches Crimson: 4 matches Miss Tessmacher: 4 matches Gail Kim: 4 matches Madison Rayne: 3 matches James Storm: 3 matches Devon: 3 matches Robbie E: 3 matches Garrett Bischoff: 3 matches Matt Morgan: 2 matches Mason Andrews: 2 matches Eric Young: 2 matches Gunner: 2 matches Tara: 2 matches Doug Williams: 1 match RVD: 1 match ODB: 1 match Lars Only: 1 match Christopher Daniels: 1 match Bobby Roode: 1 match Al Snow: 1 match Flip Casanova: 1 match Dakota Darsow: 1 match AJ Styles: 1 match Sting: 1 match Austin Aries: 1 match Velvet Sky: 1 match Eric Bischoff: 1 match Jigsaw: 1 match Mr Anderson: 1 match Joey Ryan: 1 match Rob Terry: 1 match Joseph Park: 1 match and Abyss: 1 match Rosita: 1 match Kazarian: 1 match Sarita: 1 match Kenny King: 1 match Kid Kash: 1 match Zema Ion: 1 match Jeff Hardy: 1 match WWE Beth Phoenix: 9 matches Eve Torres: 6 matches Layla: 4 matches the Big Show: 4 matches Mark Henry: 4 matches Dolph Ziggler: 4 matches R-Truth: 4 matches Ryback: 4 matches the Miz: 4 matches Kane: 4 matches Kofi Kingston: 3 matches Tamina Snuka: 3 matches John Cena: 3 matches Daniel Bryan: 3 matches Kelly Kelly: 4 matches Titus O’Neil: 2 matches Sheamus: 2 matches Brodus Clay: 2 matches Nikki Bella: 2 matches Sin Cara: 2 matches CM Punk: 2 matches Eric Young: 2 matches Drew McIntyre: 2 matches Jack Swagger: 2 matches Santino Marella: 2 matches Zack Ryder: 2 matches Epico: 1 match Cody Rhodes: 1 match Kevin Nash: 1 match Booker T: 1 match Alberto Del Rio: 1 match Ricardo Rodriguez: 1 match Curt Hawkins: 1 match Chris Jericho: 1 match Dan Delany: 1 match Jay Relic: 1 match Brie Bella: 1 match Justin Gabriel: 1 match David Otunga: 1 match Rob Grymes: 1 match Maria Menounos: 1 match Camacho: 1 match Brock Lesnar: 1 match HHH: 2 match Natalya: 1 match Jay Hatton: 1 match Natayla: 1 match The Great Khali: 1 match Alicia Fox: 1 match Tyler Reks: 1 match Primo: 1 match Randy Orton: 1 match John Laurinaitis: 1 match Kaitlyn: 1 match Now, this counting doesn'tt weighing the results towards the matches that dominated the best/worst voting. Here's something with that: If you take a proportion of best/worst votes over total votes for the PPV: i.e. 112 votes for Bound For Glory; 46 votes for Hardy/Aries as best match = 0.41 points for Jeff Hardy and Austin Aries. Scores: CM Punk: 6.80 out of 13 shows (very high) AJ Styles: 4.80 out of 11 shows (very high) Kurt Angle: 4.80 out of 11 shows (very high) Christopher Daniels: 3.39 out of 11 shows Daniel Bryan: 3.39 out of 13 shows John Cena: 3.35 out of 13 shows Austin Aries: 3.28 out of 11 shows Alberto Del Rio: 3.16 out of 13 shows Davey Richards: 3.09 out of 5 shows (very high) Bobby Roode: 2.69 out of 11 shows Kevin Steen: 2.58 out of 5 shows (very high) Kazarian: 2.53 out of 11 shows Jeff Hardy: 1.85 out of 11 shows Michael Elgin: 1.68 out of 5 shows (very high) Dolph Ziggler: 1.56 out of 13 shows Adam Cole: 1.50 out of 5 shows Kyle O’Reilly: 1.18 out of 5 shows HHH: 1.18 out of 13 shows TNA Events: TNA BOUND FOR GLORY PPV POLL RESULTS TNA NO SURRENDER PPV POLL RESULTS TNA HARDCORE JUSTICE PPV POLL RESULTS TNA DESTINATION X PPV POLL RESULTS TNA SLAMMIVERSARY PPV POLL RESULTS TNA SACRIFICE PPV POLL RESULTS TNA LOCKDOWN PPV POLL RESULTS TNA VICTORY ROAD PPV POLL RESULTS TNA AGAINST ALL ODDS PPV POLL RESULTS TNA GENESIS PPV POLL RESULTS TNA TURNING POINT PPV POLL RESULTS WWE Events: WWE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS PPV POLL RESULTS WWE SUMMERSLAM PPV POLL RESULTS WWE MONEY IN THE BANK PPV POLL RESULTS WWE NO WAY OUT PPV POLL RESULTS WWE OVER THE LIMIT PPV POLL RESULTS WWE EXTREME RULES PPV POLL RESULTS WWE WRESTLEMANIA XXVIII PPV POLL RESULTS WWE ELIMINATION CHAMBER PPV POLL RESULTS WWE ROYAL RUMBLE PPV FEEDBACK WWE SURVIVOR SERIES PPV POLL RESULTS WWE VENGEANCE PPV POLL RESULTS WWE HELL IN A CELL PPV POLL RESULTS WWE TLC PPV POLL RESULTS (added) ROH Events: ROH GLORY BY HONOR IPPV POLL RESULTS ROH DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR IPPV POLL RESULTS ROH BEST IN THE WORLD IPPV POLL RESULTS ROH BORDER WARS IPPV POLL RESULTS ROH 10TH ANNIVERSARY IPPV POLL RESULTS CM Punk matches that were listed: WWE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS PPV POLL RESULTS: C.M. I should point out that if more than one match was listed as BEST MATCH, they both were given credit - ditto with WORST MATCH. That shortcoming was sort of the premise behind the points system I noted at the end of my post - it's an attempt to attribute who had the majority of the votes for best match per show. In my mind, this is a pretty strong story for Best North American Wrestler for CM Punk. Yes, the issue of who gets most time is certainly skewed towards "main eventers"... for the most part (look at Santino).. Average time per match (Ranked) 1. CM Punk 2. Chris Jericho 3. Triple H 4. John Cena 5. Alberto Del Rio 6. Santino Marella 7. The Miz 8. R-Truth 9. Randy Orton 10. Daniel Bryan 11. Kane 12. Dolph Ziggler 13. Kofi Kingston 14. Sin Cara 15. Sheamus 16. His overall WrestleMania record is UFC: leading Pay-Per-View events as of August 2022, by buys. The biggest UFC event in terms of pay-per-view buys took place at UFC 229 in 2018. The UFC Lightweight Championship bout between current champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and former champion Conor McGregor was bought by 2.4 million PPV viewers
